12/6/10 Dave H, Gary and Peter. Went somewhere new today. Gary was dropping Hannah at Cock Bridge so we went over to Bridge of Brown to do a long run. The original plan was to do 6 points, but we made do with 4. A good idea since they took 4 hours, plus a bit extra, more of which later. From the bend in the road we took the track to Dorback, then at the first ruin we headed straight for the summit. Boggy and soft ground most of the way, and cold and showery weather. Took 30 mins to the top. Good views to Ben Avon, but not the greatest day to see them. On to 1069 Carn na Farraidh.
