11/02/10 Peter and I ran from the car park just as the rain was stopping. We ran up the fungle and then straight up to the summit. There was not much snow at the top. Peter was flying on the way down.
21/1/10. First night challenge point of the year. Ran up with Matt from Balfour. Still lots of snow, not quite hard enough to run over the top. Made it a tough run. 40 mins up and 20 down. Forgot the camera (actually, I forgot that Carnferg was a Prominent Peak) but there wasn't a lot to see apart from snow.

Friday morning run up the Fungle to the junction with the big track, then straight to the top. Snow mostly gone from the Fungle except the open bits. Expected the last climb to be tough but there was lots of slabby snow that was mostly weight bearing, so not bad at all. Came back off the north side and headed cross-country to rejoin the Fungle just above the stream crossing. Weather cleared up nicely for us.
