1/3/2011 Jane Parked at Cairn o' Mount . Set off across the peat hags with Tommy . About half way Tommy landed in a bog , so decided to abandon the walk and returned to the car. I continued to the top and saw a large herd of red deer on the way. I don't recomend this route and I'm sure Tommy wouldn't either. From the top I headed directly to the road , not perfect ,but not as far to go. I crossed a footbridge over the Stag burn and then followed a track up to the road. I think this is a better route.1467 Meluncart
