Dave and Jane, 12th August 2010. Urdanipa is 5 days walk north of Voss between the Asedalen and Solrenningen Hyttes. A steep climb in a NNE direction from the path was followed by a ridge disected by snow & ice filled gullies- making progress slow. No path. Surprised to find impressive cairn on top. Great views and fabulous weather. Returned the same route. About 2Km round trip back to the path which took us about 2.5 hours walking. Continued north and west along the path to arrive at the Solrenning Hytte fairly late in the evening. Photos: Urdanipa (left) and detail of the view (right).
